Black & Blue Welsh Wool is our very own-produced yarn, spun from a single flock of sheep in North Wales. Mr Owen has carefully chosen a blend of his prize-winning white and black Bluefaced Leicesters for us, which have been expertly spun by a mill in West Wales, and hand-dyed here in Shetland.
The result is a wonderfully soft and bouncy yarn in a gentle grey shade with plenty of life and depth. It has the lustre and softness typical of Bluefaced Leicester wool, but without quite losing its woolly character.
